For best results, dry brush before showering when skin is COMPLETELY dry. Starting at the ankle, gently brush the skin in a long, circular motion towards the heart. Since dry brushing is considered a total-body exfoliation, it's up to you to decide how often to do it. On average, no more than two to three times per week.

It's very normal for an all natural brush with no plastic inserts to shed a little in the beginning. This brush is designed to be used when COMPLETELY dry, not wet.
